Audience: User
LokAkrt is a visual workspace for designing and publishing Ionic mobile app screens. You compose pages in the browser, connect structured content, preview on phone and tablet layouts, and publish when ready.
This guide helps you complete your first productive session:
| Role | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Client / end user | Learn the basics before editing live app content |
| Power user | Refresh navigation and publish concepts |
| Implementation partner | Onboard client authors quickly |
| Administrator | Hand this guide to new workspace users |
| Requirement | Details |
|---|---|
| Account | Email and password provided by your administrator |
| Browser | Current Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari |
| Access URL | Your organization's LokAkrt address (for example https://lokakrt.example.com) |
| Permission | At least a User role for everyday editing |
Note
First-time installs may show a setup wizard before login. That is an administrator task — see Setup wizard. End users normally only see the login screen.
After you sign in you land on the Dashboard.
Primary places you will use first:
| Area | Side menu | Path |
|---|---|---|
| Home | Home | Dashboard |
| Pages | Pages → All | Project pages list |
| Projects | Projects → All | Switch or create projects |
| Media | Media → Library | Images and assets |
| Templates | Templates | Starter layouts |

Expected result: You reach the Dashboard.
Common mistakes: Caps Lock on password; using a staging URL by mistake.
Tip: If login fails repeatedly, ask an administrator — accounts can be disabled, and rate limits may temporarily block guesses.

A project is your workspace container: pages, media, datasets, theme, and settings belong to a project. Most editing happens inside one active project.
Consumer App or Partner Portal), or import a backup archive.Expected result: The selected project becomes active for page and media work.
Best Practice
Use one project per mobile app (or major brand experience). Avoid mixing unrelated apps in a single project.
Expected result: The page builder opens with a device canvas.

Expected result: Your change is in your working copy and shared with teammates after Save. The live app does not change until you Publish. Named drafts under Versions stay yours until you publish. See Preview & Publish.
Warning
Closing the browser with unsaved builder changes may prompt you. Save your working copy before switching pages.
Expected result: The published revision is what the Ionic app can serve to end users.
| Role | Sign in | Edit pages | Publish | Users admin |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Guest | No | No | No | No |
| User | Yes | Yes (project access) | Yes (typical) | No |
| Admin | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |
Exact project membership may further limit what a User can open. Ask your administrator if a project is missing.
| Problem | Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Cannot reach login | Wrong URL or server down | Confirm URL; ask admin to check server status |
| Invalid credentials | Wrong password or disabled account | Reset via admin; verify email spelling |
| Empty workspace | No project selected / no membership | Open Projects; request access |
| Changes not in the app | Saved but not published | Publish after preview |
| Redirected to setup | Fresh install | Admin must complete the Setup wizard |
Do I need to know Ionic or code?
No. Authors work visually. Developers may connect exports and hosting separately.
What is the difference between working copy, draft, and published?
Your working copy is pending edits (shared on Save). A named draft under Versions is yours until you publish. Published is the live tip the app can use.
Can two people edit the same page?
Yes. Each person edits their own copy. Teammates see changes when you Save. If you both changed the same part, Save asks Accept Theirs or Accept Yours. See Working together.
